We celebrated Eid-al-Fitr with our community by having potluck picnic at Marymoor Park. Kids were the big focus of this celebration. We wanted them to feel excitement of Eid, so we provided activities such as face painting, balloon twisting as weel as small gave them small gifts.

We were very excited to welcome Ramadan again this year. The Iftar is the evening meal after sunset that concludes the daily fasting during the month of Ramadan. Observers around the world gathered with families, loved ones, and communities to break their fast together.

On December 17, the night of Mevlana's death, we gathered to remember 13th century philosopher, mystic, scholar and founder of the order of the Whirling Dervishes, Jelaluddin RUMI. Sufi music and songs performed by Mevlana Sufi Ensemble and Friends.Rev. Karen Lindquist from Interfaith Community Sanctuary gave a short speech about Rumi.
