The presentation will be on topics of interest to those who have moved to the United States as immigrants, the challenges they face, and ways to cope and adapt in order to build a happy life in a new land.
The presenter is Dr. Piyale Cömert who is an immigrant herself. She is originally from Turkey. Dr. Cömert is a neuropsychologist and psychoanalyst who has a clinical practice in Seattle.
We invite you to attend the talk and feel free to discuss your experiences and ask questions. Before the talk, there will be a chance to meet others who are immigrants from different countries. We hope this experience will give you the opportunity to start building or to expand your social support network.
